Reminders to next years 7th graders -- please be sure to get your immunization updated before August. All students will need to have these updated before schedules will be released.
Fees will need to be paid beginning the end of July before schedules will be released for both 6th and 7th graders. Parents -- you can go to MySchoolFees.com to make payments. Remember---we accept CASH only at the school.
Make this a great summer and have fun, relax, and be ready to return in August.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2015
WELCOME 2015:
We hope each of you had a great holiday season and looking forward to this new year.
Students and faculty are on a forward path to accomplishing many things this year of 2015.
On Monday, January 19th there will be no school in observance of Martin Luther King day. Then, on the following Monday, January 26th will be an Early Out day. School will be dismissed at 11:45 a.m. Teachers will be involved with training that afternoon.
Immunization alert: All 7th graders for the school year 2015-16 are required to have 2 doses of the Varicella inoculation (chicken pox) and also the Tdap. If you have questions, please call the school. Students will need to have all immunization updated before they can begin school in August 2015.

Happy Fall to each of you.
Times are good here at Lava Ridge. Fall is in the air and the season of Thanksgiving is upon us.
We are looking forward to a great production by our drama department. "Seussical Jr" will be presented November 20, 21, 22, & 24th.
Our annual "Geckathon" will be held on Tuesday, November 25th. This is a great event that is becoming more popular with each year. Parents, we encourage you to support your student in this event.
Upcoming on December 1st -- will be an Early out day for our students. School will be dismissed at 11:45 a.m.

We encourage parents of 7th Graders to sign up for your student's CCR on our website.
A big "THANK YOU" to our Custodians and all the work they do for our school. We have the best Custodians! Custodian day is on October 2nd.
PLC Early Out Day on October 6th. Students will be dismissed at 11:45 a.m
School Lunch Lady day is on October 15th. A "round of applause" to these hard-working women.
Fall Break is coming -- October 16th & 17th. No School.

* Picture ID is required to check out students
* When checking out your student, please come directly to the front office -- we will call your student to come to the office
* If you need to visit with a teacher, you will need to check in with us and receive a "visitor pass"
* Please call the school when your student is going to be absent or if they are sick
If you have questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to give us a call @ 652-4742. We are here for you!!
